New Jersey State Firemen's Convention

Wildwood, NJ

Lodging Information

We at the Five Mile Beach Volunteer Firemen's Association are well aware of the current situation in securing rooms for the convention. The Wildwood's are in a construction boom in which many of the older 20-25 unit motels are being torn down and replaced with condominiums.  While new larger motels are in the preliminary stages construction will not be complete for about two years.  Also with the newness of the condominiums the mechanism for easy rental is not in place yet.  However, by this time next year renting a condominium should be just a few mouse clicks away.  In this period of change the FMBVFA will be listing the names of realtor offices on this website.   The only way today to book a condominium is to contact individual realtors.   The Convention Hall booking agent can only book motel rooms.  Thus if you want to stay at one of the new condos you must go through a realtor.  When you run the numbers your should find that the cost of a condo per person, not counting the benefits of a condo will be on par with a motel stay and at times be cheaper.
